The Cincinnati and Dayton airports are the two major facilities located within the shortest distance to Oxford (approximately one hour). Ticket prices vary, however, so be sure to check for cheapest fares. Several travel agencies in Oxford provide personalized service.

Miami Metro Shuttle Service
To major airports for Thanksgiving break, Winter break, and Spring break. Buses leave from Spring Street bus stop in front of Shriver Center. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Miami University Box Office in Shriver Center or by phone at 513-529-3200. One-way tickets to Cincinnati or Dayton $27.50; Columbus or Indianapolis $47.50. Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF) Chicago Bus Trip Charters
Bus service to Chicago area for Fall break (October), Thanksgiving break, Winter break, February 3-day break, and Spring break. The Miami pick-up and drop-off location is on the south side of Cook Field. Bus stops in Chicago are located along the Tri-State Tollway: Lincoln Oasis, Hinsdale Oasis, O'Hare Oasis, Lake Forest Oasis, and Kenosha. Tickets are $95 round trip; space is limited. Ride Share/Ride Board
An online Ride Board (available through myMiami) as well as the bulletin board located on the lower level of the Shriver Center (near the ATM machines) advertises rides needed and rides offered by students.
Getting Around Campus
Miami Metro
In addition to motor vehicles and bicycles, students get around campus using the Miami Metro bus service, which also provides transportation uptown, to several off-campus student housing areas, and to the Hamilton campus. Nighttime Door-to-Door (NDD)
Established for the protection of students after dark, the NDD service provides a safe escort for persons traveling alone during evening hours, operating until 4 a.m. most days of the week. Students can call 529-2277 for this service.
Access Miami
Access Miami provides transportation for students with disabilities. During fall and spring semesters, Access Miami provides door-to-door transportation around campus and in the Oxford area. Call 529-2277 to access this service, which operates 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
