Hello! My name is Chandra Joos deKoven, and I am a senior associate director of admission here at Miami University. I've lived and worked in various parts of New England and Upstate New York. Throughout my tenure in admission, I have worked with thousands of students and their families from all over the United States and the world. As a "transplant" to Miami University, I fully understand the questions you and your family have about the institution, area, and ultimately, your investment. For me, Miami stood out as premiere public institution, placing undergraduate learning and development first. Small classes, a wealth of opportunities to apply your education, and a familial community are just a few reasons why I chose Miami.
